Malcolm was born and raised in Williston, the son of Harry and Hilda Pippin. After graduating from Williston High School, he attended UND in Grand Forks and graduated with a degree in accounting and obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 1986. Thereafter, he attended UND Law School graduating in 1989 with Honors. After graduation he clerked for North Dakota Supreme Court Justice H.F. Gierke. Thereafter, he joined the Nilles Law Firm in Fargo where he practiced in a number of different areas of law until 2013. In 2013, he started the Pippin Law Firm.
Malcolm has a general practice of law having tried in excess of 100 trials and handled over 30 appeals to the North Dakota Supreme Court. He is judicially and peer reviewed by Martindale-Hubbell as preeminent (AV). Malcolm is recognized as a Super Lawyer in the Midwest, and was named as a Lawyer of Distinction®.
Malcolm has three daughters. When he is not working, he enjoys travelling, spending time at the lake, watching Sioux hockey, and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys giving back to the community of Williston that he is so very fond of with his time and resources.

Rebecca L. Winkler
Rebecca began her practice in Wyoming in 2005, where she concentrated on oil and gas law, as well as business law. She brought the experience that she gained in Wyoming's coalbed methane boom to Pippin Law Firm in the summer of 2015. She currently focuses on probates, adoptions, and assisting businesses with all of their needs, from organization to sale.

Thomas E. Kalil
Thomas Kalil was born and raised in Williston, North Dakota. He grew up working on a fourth generation family farm, and continues to be involved in farming today. Tom attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he received bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and English Literature. After college, he attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, where he received a Dean’s Scholarship. During law school, he studied asylum, refugee, and war crimes law in Italy and spent time as an intern at the United Nations in New York.
Tom has practiced law in Williston for the last seven years, and has represented clients in a wide variety of areas. He has represented several cities in Northwest North Dakota, and has been appointed a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of North Dakota and a Special Assistant State’s Attorney for Mountrail County. He has successfully represented clients before the North Dakota Supreme Court in cases related to title to mineral interests and probate. Tom also currently serves as contract City Attorney for the City of Sidney, Montana.
Tom’s wife, Audrey, is a research scientist at the NDSU Extension center in Williston, and together they have a son and a daughter. When he’s not working, Tom enjoys hunting and target shooting, and working on his family farm.

Ross W. McLinden
Ross has a diverse law practice across North Dakota and Montana that encompasses, among other areas, business litigation and commercial transactions. Ross has particularly extensive experience in the areas of labor and employment law, as well as regulatory and compliance matters arising from both the state and federal levels. Ross has also represented clients in construction litigation, landlord/tenant matters, and mergers and acquisitions. He has considerable knowledge of a variety of insurance matters as well.
Prior to joining the Pippin Law Firm, Ross served as General Counsel for a national company in Montana that experienced substantial growth. During that time, Ross created and oversaw a legal department that began with just him and eventually grew to include a total of four attorneys and two legal assistants. Prior to that, Ross practiced law for one of the oldest and largest law firms in the state of Montana.
Ross grew up in eastern Montana before leaving to play basketball for the Orediggers of Montana Tech, in Butte, Montana. Ross eventually transferred to Montana State University – Billings, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology, graduating with honors. Ross then attend law school at Gonzaga University School of Law, where he graduated with high honors before returning to Montana to begin his legal career.

Sherri is the firm’s probate, guardianship, conservatorship, and real estate legal assistant resident expert. With over 40 years of experience under her belt, Sherri has pretty much seen everything in these areas and provides the firm with a wealth of knowledge, experience, and client contacts. In her spare time, Sherri is a stained glass artist. Sherri and her husband, Dan, enjoy spending time with their son and grandchildren, gardening, and enjoying the lake.
Holly A. Radke
Holly was born and raised in Eastern Montana. In 2008 she began her career as a legal assistant for a solo attorney in Eastern Montana while attending Montana State University Billings. After graduating in 2010, she began her career as a Certified Paralegal. Holly was accepted to the State Bar of Montana Paralegal Section in 2012. Holly is also a member of the Montana Association of Legal Assistants-Paralegals (MALA), the Western Dakota Association of Legal Assistants (WDALA), and the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
Holly joined the Pippin Law Firm in February of 2016. Holly enjoys working with all the attorneys and utilizing her extensive knowledge and background in the law to assist clients of the office. Holly's expertise in researching, drafting, client communications, and trial preparation provide excellent support to the attorneys of the firm. Holly's special interests currently are adoptions and real estate (including 1031 exchanges).
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two Siberian Huskies. Holly serves as Vice-President/Treasurer to the Little Lambs Childcare Board. Holly also enjoys traveling, going on ATV rides, amusement parks, reading, and volunteering in many organizations within the community.
Angie was born and raised in Eastern Montana. In 2007 she began her career as a legal assistant at a law firm in Fairfax, Virginia. Angie moved back to Eastern Montana in 2010 where she continued her career as a legal assistant. During that time, she also attended Montana State University Billings. After graduating in 2014, she began her career as a Certified Paralegal. Angie was accepted to the State Bar of Montana Paralegal Section in 2014.
Angie is also a member of the Montana Association of Legal Assistants-Paralegals (MALA) and the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
Angie joined the Pippin Law Firm in May of 2019. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
Paula is originally from central Oregon. While she grew up in Colorado, life eventually brought her to the midwest and landed her in Williston. She has a background in Cosmetology and Home Design. As a certified yoga instructor she spends a lot of free time teaching and enjoys becoming part of the Williston community.
Jennifer is originally from Arkansas. She moved to Minot, North Dakota in August of 2018 and made her way to Williston in June 2019. She is married with two kids and enjoys spending her time with family and friends.
